Hillary Chew (周冠嘉) is an artist, critic and scholar currently studying Film and Media at Columbia University, Morningside Heights, New York. Her current research interest is non-human animal and technology in film and media art. She graduated cum laude, earning her B.A. in World Literature and Culture with honors of high distinction (scroll down to section) , in 2024 from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). She was the winner of the “4.23 World Book Day Creative Competition” in 2021, with her essay 《書中尋愛》(“Searching for the Meaning of Love in Books”), which received the “outstanding award”.
